Father's Day grazing board

Father's Day is a holiday honouring fatherhood. In 1966 Lyndon Johnson issued a proclamation designating the third Sunday in June to honour fathers. In 1972, president Richard Nixon signed a law declaring that Father's Day be celebrated annually on the 3rd Sunday in June. What better way to celebrate your Dad then by surprising him with an appealing food board.

Food board basics

Start with the crackers and form an 'S' with them to assemble the board into its desired shape. Once in place, fill in the area around it with some of the food items listed here. Use colourful fruits and make it look and taste as incredible as possible. Add a good variety of ingredients with varying textures, colours, and flavours. Fill in the gaps with nuts. Enjoy!

What you need:

  • Crackers
  • Bread
  • Cheese
  • Grapes
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Strawberries
  • Peanuts
  • Almonds
  • Hazelnuts
  • Chocolate chips
  • White chocolate buttons
  • Raisins
  • Sultanas
